Well hello there, blog followers! I’ve got a super special session for you today that I've been dying to post ever since we did the shoot at the Hickory, NC Studio. The star is, of course, sweet little, baby Baylor. I'm doubly excited, though, because her older sister, was also on the scene. Having them both there made for so much cuteness I could hardly stand it! See for yourself! I obviously had to ask Mom and Dad about how this sweet girl reacted to the news of baby Baylor coming into the world and joining the family. Their Answer? Let's cut to the chase! I recently had an awesome session with the Rhodes family and their adorable newborn, Miss S.This session was special because I had a new prop I have wanted to try out. And, it goes without saying, I was really excited to have such a sweet girl to try the prop out with. Baby S was radiating cuteness before, but the little wooden bed that was made by Newborn Bed really added to the photo. As you can see from the pictures, the color of the bed really helped bring out the soft tone of her skin, and she looks so peaceful smiling and sleeping. This was definitely a good purchase! Without further adieu, I present Miss S!

I recently had an awesome session with Kelsey H and their adorable newborn, Miss Baby S

This session was special because I had a new prop I have wanted to try out. And, it goes without saying, I was really excited to have such a sweet girl to try the prop out with.

Ms. S was radiating cuteness before, but the rosebud bucket that was made by Hello Little Props really added to the photo.

As you can see from the pictures, the color of the bucket really helped bring out the soft tone of her skin. I'll definitely be using this again in future sessions.

Photo lovers, today I have the distinct pleasure of introducing you to baby M, who's officially ten days new!

I think we can all agree: Her hair should earn her a spot on the cover of every baby magazine in the nation! Seriously, I'm practically melting from cuteness overload!

Anyway, as you can see from the pictures below, baby M and I had one of the best sessions together. Her mom prepared her for the session by following the emailed instructions. Her preparation efforts allowed us to have an especially awesome shoot together.

Baby M slept some of the ways through the (session. And when she wasn't sleeping, baby M was calm, smiley. She couldn’t have been any better. Because the shoot went so well, I asked Ms. A if she would share one helpful piece of advice with other mothers planning a newborn session (See – I've got your back, moms around the world). Her biggest piece of advice is: “get up early and keep baby awake if possible.”
