Welcome back, everyone! I recently had a fantastic session with the Hollifield family. I've said it before and I'll say it again – I truly have the best clients ever! This family was no exception, either. Just look how beautiful all the ladies are. We met at sunflower field at sunset. I love shooting at sunflower filed because everyone here is so nice and the images always turn out great! It truly was an amazing photo shoot. And if any of you are considering a family session or are prepping for an upcoming session, heed the words of plan to arrive early and prepare in advance.Okay, on to pictures of the Hollifield family!

Hi again, ladies and gents!)

Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always so amazing to work with. That's true of my session with the Patel family, too!I met up with them (at the sunflower patch, in NC   and the weather was perfect for photo-taking. It was hot however no one complained, we knew the pictures would be worth it. While the weather was fine, it was the Patel family that made this shoot such a success. As you can see from the comments above and the photos below, this family is not only photogenic, but also a close-knit group who clearly love spending time together. They are lucky to have each other. Our session highlights are below!

It’s a glorious day! And do you want to know why? Because I’ve got beautiful 14 day old baby E, coming at you on the blog! There was so much love and sweetness in this shoot. Seriously, photographing them at the studio felt like stepping into a warm, cozy bubble. I am so excited to see how this family continues to blossom, and I just know there are some very special years in their future. Let me begin by saying that I had the greatest time doing the session I'm about to post. Allie and I have worked together for 8 years and  I loved every minute of it! Allie is always so easy to photograph, she is  beautiful always up for a challenge, well mannered, never complains, mature more than her years. Definitely a photographers ideal model.

This family was no exception, either.  Everything seemed to flow with this family. We met at the farm in beautiful Lincolnton, NC. I love shooting at the farm because the sunset is always perfect. For the shoot, I wanted to incorporate some new poses I just learned in an online class. It truly was an amazing photoshoot. And if any of you are considering a family session or are prepping for an upcoming session, heed the words of Jennifer: “Plan ahead! ” she says.
