Hi gang! Today on the blog you get to meet baby Raven the bundle of sweetness. This session took place at Mt, View, NC ], and I was able to capture some of my favorite images to date! I loved that we included the bucket from Hello Little Props and a basket from Baby Dream Backdrops in this shoot because it added a ton of personality. Not to mention, it totally helps to have such a photogenic baby in front of the camera! Umm... can you say, baby model? That pretty auburn hair. Thanks again for giving me the honor of photographing Raven's Mom and Dad! You're going to be amazing parents to this sweetheart.

I'm still flying high from one of the most wonderful shoots I've had in a while. The handsome little guy in front of the lens is the son of the Solorzano family.

Speaking of which, the S was so much fun to get to know. I could have talked with them all day!I found out we had so much in common! I can tell they are going to be the best parents in the whole world!)

As for baby S, he was a little angel however he made me work for these images. I'm not gonna lie. When he showed up bright-eyed and curious, I thought the session might have turned out a little tricky, but Melissa was able to rock him to sleep, and that knocked Baby S out for the rest of the session.

Okay, no more talking. Check out little S for yourself!

Top of the morning!

Today I'm here to tell you all about Baby W. This little nugget is only 10 days old, but the world's a better place since baby W arrived.

Mom agrees, too, naturally! We all had a grand time hanging out and taking pictures together, even though (baby W was a bit camera shy. Alexis was a little bit worried because baby W does not like to be bothered, she would prefer to relax unbothered. . Despite the worries, though, we got some seriously amazing photos! It certainly helps that baby W is such a photogenic little lady!

Alexis prepared baby W by following our newborn session guide.

That's some solid advice right there, ladies and gentlemen! Take note.

Enough talk. Check out this sweetie for yourself! And just look at the beautiful family photo moments we captured.

Photo lovers, today I have the distinct privilege of introducing you to baby R, who's officially 3 weeks new!

I think we can all agree: Her characteristics should earn her a spot on the cover of every baby magazine in the nation! Seriously, I'm practically melting from cuteness overload!

Anyway, as you can see from the pictures below, baby R and I had one of the best sessions together. Her mom, Kady and her preparation efforts allowed us to Baby R slept most of the way through the two-hour session. And when she wasn't sleeping, baby R was happy and calm. She couldn’t have been any better.

Because the shoot went so well, I asked Kady if she would share one helpful piece of advice with other mothers planning a newborn session. Her biggest piece of advice is: “follow the prepare for your session guide, be patient and calm..”

Without further adieu, baby R and Family.

Welcome back, my oh-so-wonderful blog readers!

Today I'd like you to meet some very special people: baby M and his older M! Our shoot was triumphantly successful and I am head-over-heels excited about the shots I was able to capture!

M is so happy to have a younger brother, and he made that apparent at our shoot! He/posing and cuddling the baby.. One thing's for certain – baby M will always have someone looking out for him!

Mom & dad suggest everyone take a  family photo it will be something to cherish forever.

As you can see from the pictures below, the younger ones  and the family already share such a connection. I can’t wait to see how they interact in the future!
